KILLARNEY PROVINCIAL PARK

The Group of Seven artists were so fascinated by this expanse that they convinced the government to turn it into a park. It is now considered the pearl of Ontario's provincial parks. Once higher than the Rocky Mountains, the white quartzite cliffs of La Cloche shine in the distance like snowy peaks. Canoe and kayak enthusiasts, hikers, skiers and snowshoers now venture into this rocky and imposing landscape.
