Finlayson Point Provincial Park serves as a base camp and offers kayak, canoe and bike rentals.

Finlayson Point Provincial Park is the gateway to Temagami's vast wilderness and serves as a base camp for canoeists, boaters, hikers and fishers. Camp under majestic pine trees (a cottage is also available for rent), swim near a sandy beach, dive into the deep, clear water, or walk to the Caribou Mountain lookout. A plaque has been erected in honour of Grey Owl. Kayak, canoe and bike rental on site.
