POLAR BEAR EXPRESS

The locomotive whistles! "All aboard the Polar Bear Express for a historic journey. Nearly 300 km of boreal forest takes you to the Moosonee Cree Indian Reserve, at the mouth of the Moose River and as the crow flies to James Bay. There are four departures per week from Cochrane on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 9:00 a.m. (arriving in Moosonee at 2:00 p.m.; leaving Moosonee at 5:00 p.m. and arriving in Cochrane at 10:00 p.m.). There are a dozen stops on the route between these two destinations.
