SHAW FESTIVAL

One of Canada's most renowned theatrical events, the Shaw Festival attracts more than 250,000 spectators to Niagara-on-the-Lake each year. Presented by one of the most prestigious repertory troupes in the Americas, plays by George Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries (Brecht, Chekhov, Coward, Ibsen, Wilde, to name but a few) are on display during the festival. We can see how humour, satire, paradox and fantasy are still relevant today. An unmissable event of very, very high calibre.
