SCARBOUROUGH CLIFFS

Natural site to discover

The Scarborough Bluffs are a little-known natural wonder for tourists. This escarpment on the shores of Lake Ontario is about 15 kilometres long and requires some caution if you are prone to vertigo: there is a 65-metre-high cliff. The area is beautiful and scenic, with white sandy beaches at the base of the cliffs and the turquoise waters of Lake Ontario. There are several parks, picnic areas and trails throughout the area.

ROUGE NATIONAL URBAN PARK

Natural site to discover

This is the newest addition to Parks Canada. A huge project that took place over several years and became the largest urban park in North America, happily surpassing Central Park in New York City (23 times larger). In addition to its biodiversity, the park is home to one of the largest marshes in the region, patches of Carolinian forest, a beach on the shores of Lake Ontario and more. Numerous outdoor activities are offered throughout the year. Camping on site.
