This church, with its amazing architecture and austere exterior, has not been rebuilt identically.
It is a church with a surprising architecture and with an austere external appearance, like many religious buildings of the Reconstruction. Destroyed during the 1944 bombings, the church of Maisy was not rebuilt as it was before. Only a part of its chancel, designed in the Bayeusain style of the 13th century, remained. It is even better as it is now the main attraction of the monument.
