Kluane Lake in the Yukon has a panoramic view, many viewpoints and several hiking trails nearby.
A true jewel, it is the largest lake located entirely in the Yukon. Kluane Lake (70 kilometres long) is fed by the waters of the Kaskawulsh Glacier, which explains its emerald blue colour. The panorama from its shores is magnificent, the mountains are perfectly reflected in the lake. Many viewpoints and several hiking trails are nearby. The lake is the ideal place to fish for trout (permit required), to kayak, to hike and to observe the many birds that like to fly over the surroundings.
