MACKENZIE ART GALLERY

This public art gallery is the oldest in the province. Its collection spans 5,000 years of art with a collection of close to 5,000 works. There is a strong focus on Aboriginal art and diversity, and all art forms are explored here, including digital art. Permanent installations, such as the outdoor sculpture garden and the multimedia installation Bird Radio, are complemented by exhibitions, workshops and special events. Definitely a gallery to discover, and one of the best in Western Canada.
