Dominating the Saguenay landscape, Monts-Valin National Park boasts the region's highest peaks, including Pic de la Hutte (980 m). This mountainous territory offers landscapes, hidden treasures and majestic vistas. The presence of water and the abundance of flora and fauna offer a wide range of activities all year round. In winter, don't miss the spectacle of the Valley of the Ghosts.
The Discovery and Service Centre is open all year round, but with reduced opening hours at certain times (the toilets remain accessible). Check the website for full seasonal opening times. Luggage transport and refreshment services are available in the park in both summer and winter.
Lodging: cabins, Nature cabins, EXP cabins, Antoine-Dubuc pavilion, rustic camp, shelters, rustic and serviced camping, winter camping.
Equipment rentals: watercraft, life jackets, canteens, stoves, sleeping mats, telescopic poles, crampons, sealskins, snowshoes.
Activities: canoeing, paddleboarding, speckled trout fishing (Quebec fishing permit required - stay with accommodation possible), fishing-camping, hiking (including long-distance circuits), backcountry expeditions, wildlife observation, fatbike, Nordic skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing. Shuttle service by tracked minibus to Vallée des Fantômes and mountain lodgings in winter.
