The phenomenon can be seen from Fallsview Park and the observation deck of the Reversing Falls Restaurant. To fully appreciate the phenomenon, it is important to check the tide times at the tourist office on Bridge Road. At low tide, the Saint John River rushes into the bay, but at high tide, the opposite occurs and the sea rises. This phenomenon causes the formation of rapids and whirlpools quite impressive. A marvel of nature not to be missed and to be seen up close!

Nous nous sommes garés au parc Fallview pour observer les fameuses chutes réversibles au moment où la marée redescendait. Impressionnant le bouillonnement! Avons traversé le pont jusqu’au promontoire en bois. Certaines compagnies proposent des balades en bateaux pour les observer au plus près.

Très impressionnant et amusant il faut y aller à deux moment différent dans la journée pour bien voir la différence et voir le courant qui va dans un sens et puis dans l’autre sens au fils des marées, totalement gratuit
