WINNIPEG ART GALLERY

Founded in 1912, the WAG is the oldest municipal art gallery in the country. It is one of Canada's major art galleries, with over 27,000 works, and houses the largest public collection of contemporary Inuit art in the world. The collection is very eclectic and daring when it comes to contemporary art. Don't miss the new Qaumajuq Inuit Art Center, opening in 2021, with nearly 14,000 works including sculptures, drawings, prints, textiles and new media.
