AINSWORTH HOT SPRINGS

40 kilometres north of Nelson are the Ainsworth Hot Springs, used in the late 19th century by the Amerindians, particularly those of the Ktunaxa First Nation, to treat their wounds and other ailments caused by their hectic lives. The complex also offers massages, steam baths and everything you need to pamper yourself. The breathtaking view of Kootenay Lake and the surrounding mountains is a definite plus.
