VERNON WINTER CARNIVAL

9 days of carnival during the winter season hosting various family activities organized by the locals, most of which are free. Inauguration with a release of hot air balloons to open the festivities, the stars of the program follow with ice sculpture competitions, decorated parades and floats, live concerts and dance evenings. One of the largest carnivals of its kind in Canada in 60 years. Bring out the child in you and participate in activities with your children or as a group of friends.
