D'UN VIN À L'AUTRE
Read moreA wine merchant who seduces by his kindness, his love of wine and his... bottle! Head sommelier of the Drouant restaurant for 20 years, member of the Association des Sommeliers de Paris, Nicolas Loubère is a great oenologist. In his sober and elegant wine cellar - where a few autographed photos of his Parisian past are displayed - he advises with his great experience, while charging low prices. Nicolas favours independent winemakers. Great classics, great vintages, great finds, Drouant champagne (exclusive), spirits and tasting evenings!
BOUCHON
Read moreA nice little shop, right next to the Initiative Union, where Corinne welcomes you all smiles. On the one hand, wines and on the other, greedy products. A woman merchant, it's rare enough to deserve to be interested! Her selection is well felt: all regions are represented, mainly with relatively affordable tariffs. On the cheese side, then good! From the local (the main Norman actors are present) and at least local (goat, feta, mozzarella, Roquefort, Cantal…). A nice collection of sausages from Spain and sausage, just next to the Cidricoles products (Clos d'Orval). To complete the table, the pâté, the (original) jams, the gingerbread, the farmers' eggs… are what to fill your basket and even make it profitable for your return. You can even order, Corinne sends you the package by post (in this case, forget the eggs!).
PLACE 26
Read moreVéronique and Christophe opened their bookstore-café concept in 2019, in the heart of Dover-la-Délivrande. They have thus fulfilled their dream by creating this place of life and encounters, and by offering 4,500 references of new books. Local authors, children's books, novels, foreign press... you are bound to find what you are looking for. For the decoration, the couple bought local books at Emmaüs and at flea markets in Saint-Contest and Luc-sur-Mer. Some items are also on sale. As for coffee, you will also find local sweets and roasted coffee in Caen.
LE BOCAL NORMAND

Among the local producers in the spotlight are Cocotte&Co's organic eggs, Lou Kombu Cha's natural soda, rich in micro-organisms, and the bread (to be reserved) from Ferme de la Moissonnière.
BOUCHERIE DIERICK
Read moreChristine and André Diérick moved to Dover in 2017. The specialty of the latter, an artisan butcher for more than 30 years? The traditional blood sausage, for which he won the gold medal in 2020 at the Mortagne-au-Perche Best Pudding Competition. His paupiettes, filet mignon of pork Percheron and rabbit terrine are also succulent. The couple also offers tasty home-cooked dishes such as coq au vin, couscous or cassoulet. On weekends, we come to enjoy roast chicken!
