A remarkable multicultural neighborhood with beautiful murals, symbolic and social, in Vancouver.

A project led by the Commercial Drive Business Society, 12 murals painted by local artists adorn the walls and street corners of Commercial Drive over 15 blocks. Colourful, symbolic and social, they brighten up this multicultural neighbourhood with brio. The most recent one, depicting figures perched or leaning against windows, was done on the building at the corner of Charles and Commercial Drive, across from the pleasant Grandview Park. Don't miss the Vancouver Mural Festival in August (free admission).
