Very family beach, quiet, overlooking North Vancouver and downtown Vancouver, a nice place to relax.

Eight kilometres north of Vancouver, Spanish Banks is the continuation of Jericho Beach, both overlooking North Vancouver and the downtown area to the east. Very family-oriented, this beach is popular with picnickers and joggers. Easy access parking is available for those who wish to drive to the beach. Quiet and less populated than the nearby Vancouver beaches, it is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the view of the Vancouver skyline or to swim or play volleyball. Wilder than other beaches, it offers several trails.
