Gwaii Haanas National Park is home to lush, dense flora and endless, nearly deserted beaches.
Gwaii Haanas National Park is renowned for its concentration of totem poles at the entrance to ancient Haida villages. The flora is lush and dense, followed by thick, spongy moss and endless, almost deserted beaches and surreally clear waters. Going down to Anthony Island, you reach Ninstints (or SG̱ang Gwaay), the best preserved totem pole village in the world. The Haida are the First Nations people of the region.
