Lighthouse marking the entrance to Barkley Sound and its Broken Group islands, offering beautiful views between ocean and forest.
This small lighthouse was first built of wood in 1906. Destroyed in 1914 by a storm, it was then rebuilt and erected in 1915, marking the entrance to Barkley Sound and the Broken Group Islands. It is accessed by the Lighthouse Loop of the Wild Pacific Trail, a hiking trail along the coast of Ucluelet. A nice little getaway with beautiful views between ocean and forest. On the rocks you will see sea urchins, crabs and other small marine animals.

Jolie balade
La promenade Lighthouse Loop est plus belle et'interessante que le phare lui même. Nombreux points de vues superbes, on peut appercevoir des aigles et des lions de mer.
