Ha Ling Peak at the northwestern end of Lawrence Grassi Mountain, with the Ha Ling Peak Trail offering an ascent to the summit.

For more experienced hikers, the Ha Ling Peak Trail offers a relatively difficult 3-4 hour climb to the top of Ha Ling Peak, located at the northwestern end of Lawrence Grassi Mountain. The trail is not very well marked, so be careful not to get lost. But the breathtaking and panoramic view of the town of Canmore and the surrounding area rewards the effort. Make sure you are well equipped as it climbs right from the start and some places require the use of good hiking boots. Very popular, go early!
