THE BLACK DOG FREEHOUSE

Since 1992, The Black Dog Freehouse has been welcoming visitors to the Old Strathcona area of Edmonton. With its 3 floors, it is one of the most popular bars among students at the nearby University of Edmonton. Local music groups come to perform there on Saturday afternoons and several other theme nights are organized every week. The rooftop is one of the most renowned in the city, hosting numerous DJs throughout the year. Beer is not very expensive here, so beware!
