Built in 1983 for the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics, the Scotiabank Saddledome (formerly known as the Olympic Saddledome) is a huge indoor ice rink that can accommodate nearly 20,000 spectators. Located in Stampede Park, it owes its shape to architect Graham McCourt, who was inspired by a horse saddle. This is where the Calgary Flames ice hockey team plays! Tickets can be reserved online, and purchased at the stadium gates or from resellers at the entrance.
