NKILA NTARI CAVE

The descent into this kilometer-long tunnel takes you through gutters one meter in diameter and much larger galleries with ceilings dozens of meters high. You'll need to be fairly athletic, and of course you'll need a torch. A rope will even take you to an exit at the bottom of the cave, leading to a plateau. The cave is dotted with cave paintings, stalactites and stalagmites. There's also a spring in the cave where fish and turtles splash about.
