LE CHRISTELLA
The Christella occupies a special place in the mythology of the undermining and the history of the neighbourhood. It was the first "modern" café-glacier (hard, tiled floor, dining room floor) and became a mandatory stop on the route of the district sapper. The Christella is now regraded, but with its two terraces, one of which is protected on the roof dominating the town, its VIP space to have a coffee/croissant, bathed in darkness and lounging in night chairs, this great Congolese café retains a real charm that few places can match.
