Direct flights from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport are operated to Brazzaville on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Average flight time is 8.30 hours. On other days, one flight a day to Brazzaville, with a stopover in Kinshasa. It takes 40 minutes to fly from Kinshasa to Brazzaville. At Maya Maya airport, check-in can be done in the afternoon, from 4 or 5 p.m., before the evening flight. On-board service is impeccable, with a full meal and beverage served during the journey.

Brazzaville's first surprise is its airport. Ultra-modern, made of glass and steel, it marks a break with its predecessor, a small, dilapidated building where travellers jostled to get to the counters. When you disembark, you'll need to present your yellow fever vaccination certificate. Don't forget it, along with your other travel documents! Then it's just a matter of waiting until you reach the police station, where you'll be checked. All in all, it will take you about an hour and a half to get out of the airport.

Based in Togo, Asky Airlines is a 100% privately-owned pan-African airline founded in 2008 by regional banking institutions, in partnership with Ethiopan Airlines. Its network covers some twenty African destinations, spread across twenty countries in West and Central Africa. It serves Ouagadougou, Accra, Bamako, Banjul, Brazzaville, Cotonou, Kinshasa, Lagos, Libreville, Lomé, Malabo, N'Djamena, Niamey, Pointe Noire... Royal Air Maroc is Morocco's national airline. It links Paris-Orly to Brazzaville via Casablanca three times a week (Wednesday, Friday and Saturday). A few extra hours to make the journey, which may suit tighter budgets, all for a level of comfort equivalent to that of other major international airlines. The only - slight - downside is that departure and arrival times in Brazzaville are often in the middle of the night. It is advisable to confirm your return ticket with the airline a few days before departure.

Founded in 2003, the Congolese airline offers flights between Brazzaville and Pointe-Noire every day, with two round trips per day, except on Sundays when only one round trip is scheduled between the two cities. It has a small, well-maintained and reliable fleet to transport passengers safely. The staff on board are smiling and competent, and will do their utmost to ensure that your trip on board runs smoothly. At the time of our investigation, the company had suspended its flights to Impfondo and Ouesso.

Ethiopian Airlines currently serves around 120 international destinations and some 20 domestic destinations. In fact, it is the airline with the largest number of destinations in Africa. Its business has seen the most rapid growth in recent years. Its fleet, which includes the latest-generation aircraft, is considered the youngest on the continent. It offers regular flights from Paris to Brazzaville, with a stopover in Addis Ababa. The journey takes around 14 hours.
