Salads, quinoa tabbouleh, vegetarian lasagne, onion pie, picante de locos, herbed salmon, ceviches, Thai dishes and natural juices and even sushi: all culinary influences meet in this restaurant that we particularly like. Our preference is for fish and shellfish, however, as we are close to the sea! A friendly atmosphere in a large green patio. The setting is nice and the menu should satisfy all tastes.

Chinese food under the Chilean sun? The presence of Chinese chifas reminds us that Peru (where this type of restaurant is commonplace) is not far away. The prices here are higher than the others, but the food is hearty and of high quality. The service is fast, the dishes tasty and the staff friendly. On the menu: spring rolls, chicken with all kinds of sauces, tallarines (Chinese noodles)... There are many restaurants of this type in Iquique, near the central market. The choice is yours!

An ideal location and a rather pleasant setting for this restaurant located a stone's throw from the beach. It has been a real institution since 1848, when it was created as a canteen when Filomena was cooking for the soldiers of the marine army. The pizzas are generous but not exceptional. Try fish instead, fresh and tasty, like ceviche. Empañadas are not bad either. The service is sometimes random but it remains a classic of the city. In short, don't expect great quality cuisine but the dishes are correct.

An address that definitely has its charm: the decor is full of regional antiques from the time of the saltpetre epic. You will taste local dishes at low prices: sibayano de cojinova y quinoa, huataca del chango, lapas rebozadas or espumita de mango... the food is of good quality and the portions are generous. The cocktails are up to the task. Concerts are regularly organized as well as storytelling recitals(cuenta-cuentos). A popular address, but the service can be random and the wait sometimes long.

We eat it well, but it goes to its sumptuous Spanish-Moorish atmosphere. Built in 1904 by Miguel Retornado, the casino is distinguished by its ornate facade and its extraordinary balcony. On the walls, paintings illustrating the scenes of the Don Quixote are the work of a Spanish painter at the beginning of the century, Vicente Tordesillas. On the second floor are six paintings, mainly historical, of the contemporary Chilean painter Sixto García. Even if you don't intend to sit there, take a look at this truly enchanting building. The service of the restaurant is not excellent, but that does not prevent you from tasting a succulent pisco sour.
