Created in 1969, it is the largest national park in Chile with 3,525,901 ha. It has large areas of glaciers including the Campo de Hielo Dr. Juan Bruggen and the Campo de Hielo Patagónico. Organized boat trips from Puerto Natales allow you to reach the park by sailing the seno Ultima Esperanza. During the trip, one can admire the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, and one can disembark and go to the lagoon to observe the floating blocks of ice detached from the Serrano glacier. In high season (October-April), the entrance fee is $10,000. Closed the rest of the year.
