Also intrigued by the previous messages and for pancakes lovers in good Breton that I,
my wife and me we went to the gourmet bar.
At the reception, a rather nice lady and air worry approaches us, it is not a witch
unlike have does what I could read, can be this is another waitress?
It has setup us a table for two, there were still the tables are available for this lunch and the place is very small, a dixaine tables, usually sign of quality.
It gives us the menu, and... the first problem:
- a quizaine salad of different recipes
- two formulas snacks
- 8 menus omelettes with various toppings
- about forty savoury crepe recipe
- about forty recipe for the sweet pancakes.
Strange that a restaurant serves many things for also few tables.
We therefore order gourmet salad (duck foie gras, and duck) and a pancake tartiflette livarot.
The drama starts here, salad was quite light, lots of leaves and little foie gras and duck, the vinaigrette was tasteless, salad a little too dry, and the spongy cake and very salty, the sun odourless livarot, roof for a Norman cheese served in a restaurant in Normandy, vacuum sweet potatoes and therefore not flavour.
We tried the experience until the end for dessert with two gourmet pancakes, bottom-of-the-range apple balls and caramelized apple too bitter.
There is therefore food served very quickly, without quality and passion or not brought in the dishes. You are still hungry because the proportions are very limited.
Check in profitability during the passage in cash desk:
a salad, 14.50€ has a pancake at €9.50 has two 9.50€ pancakes and a bottle of san pelegrino €48 has 5 euros= in the wind...
It was actually disappointed value and quality/price ratio, the owner has certainly seeks to make his profitable business at the expense of quality served, but there still remains the tables are available, while the lower summer full swing...
I rejoinds thus the negative opinions, it is a real disappointment...
A bon entendeur,salut !!!!!!
We are turned in this creperie where we visited during our previous holiday
but we were disappointed.
Disappointed by the very cold welcome
Disappointed by the slowness of the arrival of the dishes
Disappointed by the amount of the food present in pancakes, my wife had taken a gourmet salad but there is not much to eat.
Disappointed by the quality of this same food, (preserves, empty?) because it was tasteless.
Disappointed by the pancakes " maison" salted butter caramel (which was savoury well too).
Disappointed by the paid price: €48 For a pancake, salad, two pancakes caramels and two beers.
Disappointed because we were not sated.
