The most beautiful natural sites to discover Valdivia

It was the garden of Eduardo Augusto Prochelle, who emigrated from Berlin to Chile in 1853 and died in 1890, not without having won a huge fortune in the import-export, the timber industry, the shipyards, an insurance company… in Valdivia and Puerto Montt. In 1953, at the time of the construction of the current Pedro de Valdivia Bridge, the Prochelle family had to separate from the park which was purchased by the municipality in 1977 and made available to the public.
