Calvados Boulard, a large family distillery in the Pays d’Auge, became an internationally renowned company to visit.
First Calvados of the Pays d’Auge Appellation Contrôlée, the Maison Boulard has been committed for 197 years to perpetuate the tradition and to take the famous apple brandy further. Founded in 1825, the small family business created by Pierre-Auguste Boulard has become, by dint of hard work and passion, a company of international renown. Upon reservation, visitors can discover the largest distillery in the Pays d’Auge, which operates from November to March, from the work of the cellar master to the pleasure of the tasting.
