TEATRO UNIVERSIDAD CATÓLICA

Located opposite Plaza Ñuñoa, this university theater is one of Chile's most important theaters. Nicknamed the Teatro UC, it celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2023 and has gone by many different names since its creation. It has two theaters (first and second floor) and welcomes no fewer than 40,000 visitors every year. Visitors can enjoy classical and contemporary works performed by a team of professional actors.

TEATRO MORI

Theater

Located in the bohemian neighborhood of Bellavista, on the way to La Chascona, this pretty little theater is a good landmark if you want to experience Chilean culture. Founded by Chilean actors Gonzalo Valenzuela and Benjamin Vicuña, the theatre hosts a wide range of styles and plays. There are also exhibitions and performances on very current topics such as feminism, sexual freedom, terrorism, etc. The theatre now has three cultural spaces around Santiago.

TEATRO NESCAFÉ DE LAS ARTES

Theater

Inaugurated in 1949, this theatre almost closed its doors at the end of the 2000s. It was bought by a group of individuals, sponsored by the Nescafé brand. Named Marconi and then Providencia, it has hosted major rock concerts, film festivals and classical operas in the past. Today, you can attend a Romeo and Juliet play, discover the country's latest female rappers or admire the country's greatest pianists.
