SREE KRISHNA TEMPLE

This temple is one of the most important in Kerala. Its architecture is consistent with the typical style of that state. Its main festivities are celebrated in March and April. The temple is well known for its payasam, a milk porridge with exceptional sweetness prepared in large quantities and offered to deity, as well as visitors during the holiday season. The poet Kunjan Nambiar, who lived in the sixteenth century, represented in the temple auditorium his first Ottam Thullal, a solo high-content solo dance show.
