BRAGANÇA PEREIRA MANSION
Typical Portuguese residence in Chandor's main square, divided into two separate wings
Located in Chandor's main square, this typical 17th-century Portuguese mansion is one of the best-preserved colonial houses in the state. The house is divided into two wings, the right wing belonging to the Menezes-Bragança family, the other to the Pereira-Bragança family. The latter is remarkably well preserved and maintained. One of Goa's oldest libraries, superb chandeliers, period furniture, Chinese porcelain and other curios bear witness to a bygone era.
