This large temple of an intense orange color, which contrasts with the green landscape, is located on the Altinho hill, south of the Fontainhas district. It is dedicated to the famous Hindu god half-man, half-monkey: Hanuman. Its architecture is amazing, it houses a surprising octagonal pagoda. It offers a pleasant view on the city. When the evening comes, it shines with a thousand lights. If you are in the area in February, don't miss the festival of the temple which attracts a large number of faithful coming to celebrate Hanuman for 10 days.

Dans la journée, il est déjà beau, bien que très haut perché mais les marches sont agréables à monter et la vue au fur et à mesure fait oublier l'effort. Sa hauteur lui permet d'être visible de loin. La beauté de ce temple réside aussi dans le fait qu'il est tout illuminé le soir et c'est magnifique ! Nous avons eu la chance de résider à l'hôtel Ginger de Panaji et, depuis ce lieu, la vue tous les soirs sur le Maruti Temple illuminé a été un vrai régal.
