DEO BAGH - 17TH CENTURY

This sumptuous property includes a hotel housed in an ancient pavilion of 36 arches, two cenotaphs and two Marathi temples of the ^17th and ^18th centuries. The whole forms a unique architectural ensemble, which has been used several times as a set for films. The 15 rooms, tastefully decorated, are spread around a very well maintained garden. Our favorite, the Dhanu Mahal, is hidden in the zenana, the area reserved for women. The prices are relatively modest considering the service. Excellent service and enchanting atmosphere.
