A museum with many rooms rich in pieces from different periods, including a collection of Jain bronzes
Located on Shyamla Hills Road, this museum established in 1909 is interesting and rich in pieces from different periods. You will discover a beautiful collection of Jain bronzes dating from the Paramar period (12th century), ancient musical instruments, metal sculptures, reconstructions of cave paintings... We also advise you to go and see the "Freedom struggle" room on the first floor which is a retrospective on the Indians' struggle for independence. Count 2 hours for a complete visit of this museum which counts many rooms.

Le musée rassemble les plus belles découvertes archéologiques du Madhya Pradesh (sauf pour Sanchi et Khajurâho qui les ont conservées sur place). Les plus belles pièces sont rassemblées dans le hall d'entrée. Les autres galeries intéresseront les curieux seulement. Entrée 400 roupies. En face du Musée Tribal et d'un petit resto
