Owned by the government of Madhya Pradesh, the hotel was given under management to an important politician of the state. The property lacks a bit of charm, despite a huge, well-kept garden and an imposing stone building. However, the service is excellent and the huge rooms have a lot of character with their old style furniture. The manager collects antique cars and you can, if you wish, opt for a tour of the city in one of them. The hotel also has a swimming pool and a souvenir store.
