SARAF BAZAAR

This market is located inside the walled city, near the entrance to the Prag Mahal Palace. In a lively, colorful atmosphere, you'll find merchants selling clothes and fabrics, saris, scarves, embroidered leather ballerinas and a large number of jewelers, as well as cows and vehicles, which often find it difficult to squeeze through the market's tiny alleyways. The fruit and vegetable market dates back to 1883 and was rebuilt after the earthquake in 2001. Note the large, beautiful covered hall.
