This reserve, 12 km from Bikaner, is one of the few places in India where you can see vultures, which have almost disappeared from the cities. Jorbeer is a large, foul-smelling carcass dump, famous for being home to a large number of birds of prey. Different varieties of eagle can also be spotted, as well as other bird species, such as yellow-eyed pigeons. The area is also home to chinkaras, a species of gazelle, and desert foxes.
