KHETRI MAHAL

Built in the second half of the 18th century, this palace has kept a proud exterior with its arches and colonnades. The interior is unfortunately abandoned. You will notice the absence of a staircase, replaced by a sloping corridor. This one allowed the rulers to be transported on a cart from one floor to another until the terrace offering a beautiful view on the city. The Bihariji temple (1776) presents very nice frescos evoking the Ramayana and the adventures of Krishna and his shepherdesses.
