Building housing state deputies built in Jodhpur and Paharpur stone with classical architectural details

The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is located south of Ashok Nagar, on the other side of Central Park. The building housing the state's deputies was inaugurated in March 2001. Constructed entirely of Jodhpur and Paharpur stone, the building features the region's classic architectural details: jarokhas (bow-window windows), chhatris (bell towers), baradaris (12-arched exterior passageways)... The central dome, 31 metres in diameter, towers majestically over the building. When night falls, the building is illuminated with electric garlands.
