Every year as spring approaches, India is transformed into an immense living fresco for Holi, the festival of colors. This ancient festival celebrates renewal, collective joy and the victory of good over evil. On this magical day, social differences are erased, laughter resounds in the streets, and multicolored powders cover faces in a euphoric, benevolent atmosphere. It's a vibrant celebration, full of light, song, dance and spontaneity.
Our exclusive "Holi - India's Festival of Colors" tour invites you to experience this festival from the inside out, in a warm and authentic setting. It begins in Delhi on February 22, 2026 and ends on March 7, after a fortnight of discovery through the wonders of Rajasthan and Agra. This itinerary has been carefully designed to combine cultural highlights, human encounters and intense festive moments. (Low prices until the end of August: €1,190 instead of €1,450)
You'll start by exploring the Shekhawati region, famous for its havelis decorated with brightly colored frescoes. In Pushkar, a holy city nestled around a sacred lake, you'll experience the peaceful spirituality of rural India. Then on to Jodhpur, the blue city, before continuing on to Udaipur, the romantic city of lakes. Each stage is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the history, flavors and traditions of North India.
In Jaipur, the pink city, you'll experience the highlights of the Holi festival. On the evening of March 4, you'll attend the Holika Dahan ceremony around the sacred fire. On March 5, you'll take part in the festival of colors, surrounded by the locals, in a joyful, caring atmosphere supervised by our team. It's a moment of pure human connection, an explosion of colors and emotions you'll never forget.
The trip ends in Agra, with a visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise, a moment of great beauty and emotion. For those who wish to extend the adventure, we offer an optional excursion to Benares (Varanasi), the sacred city on the banks of the Ganges, a mythical place of meditation and age-old rituals.

Les hôtels et le parcours choisis sont un sans faute. Pour compléter ce voyage, nous avions opté pour l’excursion supplémentaire afin de visiter Varanasi : un indispensable ! Merci INDIA TRAVEL ARTS.
Vijay a été un organisateur et un accompagnateur extraordinaire de bout en bout. Il n’était pas avec nous mais avec un groupe qui faisait quasiment le même circuit que nous. Nous nous retrouvions le soir dans certains hôtels. Malgré cela il a été très présent et joignable au téléphone à tout moment. Il nous a prodigué de bons conseils et a toujours été bienveillant à notre égard. La fête Holi s’est passée en sa compagnie à Jaipur et c’était MAGIQUE !
Les hôtels sélectionnés étaient très confortables, très bien situés, magnifiques et luxueux. Dormir dans un Havelis sur ses conseils a été un pur moment de bonheur.
C’est mon 2ème voyage au Rajasthan. Mais sachez que faire un voyage en toute autonomie à 2, 3 ou 4 en direct avec l’agence IndiaTravelArts + un vol sec ne revient pas plus cher, voir moins cher qu’avec une agence de voyage française qui vous proposera un voyage en groupe. Et franchement cette formule est top.
Ce pays est incroyable, il vous envoûte, et culturellement, c’est grandiose, comme peut l’être l’Inde. Et une chose est certaine, si je retourne en Inde, je ferai ce voyage avec IndiaTravelArts. Merci à Delphine et Vijay pour leurs conseils et leurs gentillesses respectives.
