Early temple replacing a temporary temple, a place of worship housing a bird hospital.
When Shah Jahan built his capital, he invited merchants from the Jain Agrawal community to settle there. He gave them land at the bottom of Chandni Chowk and authorized the construction of a temporary temple. The present temple dates from the early 19th century. As well as being a place of worship, it houses a bird hospital at the rear. To visit the temple, please remove your shoes and all leather goods.

a beautiful place of popular worship; interesting if you don't cross other towns where there are Jain temples (think of no problem with the rules of this community: no leather.....)
