Value-for-money star hotel with 6 rooms and a central patio in Essaouira

Renovated in the respect of tradition, this is one of our favorites in Essaouira and probably one of the best value for money in its category! Omar, the master of the place, and his team welcome you with a constant kindness and a really appreciable simplicity: very quickly, the charm works and you feel at home! The 6 rooms each have their own colour theme. The central patio and the living room on the ground floor become enchanting at nightfall when a bunch of small candles light up the place.

One of our favourites during our trip to Morocco! Excellent value for money. Warm welcome and attentive Omar and her team. You feel at home in this wonderful haven, neat and delightful at nightfall with all the candles that illuminate the dar, beautiful views from the terrace, homemade breakfast, copious and really delicious, nothing to say (which is quite rare mentioning)! It is sure you will return!
Address found thanks to sly little minx and we recommend warmly:)

I stay in Dar assalama each time I come in Essaouira to rest. The discreet, friendly and efficient reception Omar and Nezha has a lot to do with it. It is a pretty riad very quiet, historical importance to nine little time ago, simply decorated. there is a sea-view terrace where you have breakfast (excellent in addition), lounge areas everywhere where you can read quietly. It is not rare that I dinner (excellent tajines homemade) for a ridiculous price and one happily let me one or the other of the kitchen to prepare my own meals if I stay several days, and I do not want to leave. If you stay Wednesday, and Omar will see her family with the village, ask him to take you to the souk, it is really typical. Omar will bring back also oil argane made by her mother or saffron of taliouine harvested under the directives her brother. Really, a very good address!
