A magnificent crescent-shaped dune of pristine white sand that becomes an island accessible only by boat at high tide

About fifteen minutes by 4x4 from the "Dakhla Attitude" base, this natural curiosity intrigues the scientists who have no reliable explanation for this phenomenon to date. In the middle of the bay, rises this magnificent sand dune of an immaculate white, in the shape of a crescent, which reveals a lagoon with blue and green tints. At high tide, it becomes an island accessible only by boat. It is a paradise for fiddler crabs and birds, especially pink flamingos, and is a photographer's delight, offering superb shots!
