WAED JRIFIA

Some thirty kilometers southeast of the town. Surrounded by magnificent shifting dunes, the Oued Jrifia stretches out, with its numerous Talh trees. The site, which is well-maintained and prized for its fine sand, has the singularity of curing rheumatism thanks to its dry climate. This savannah-like place aspires to be recognized as a nature reserve by the government, as it is populated by several animal species, including gazelle and jackal. A refreshing and healing break well worth the detour.
