Visit to discover a fortress offering a superb view of the ocean and the medina in Safi.

Ksar el-Bahr means "sea castle" and offers a superb view of the ocean. The entrance is tricky: you have to go through an underground passage where the smell is not very welcoming. We then reach the sea, where it is more pleasant to walk around this Vauban fort, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and restored in 1963. This place is not exceptional, but the fresh air and the slamming of the waves at high tide against the wall leave good memories. From the fortress, there is also a beautiful view of the entire medina.

Bon ce n'est pas sublime, mais c'est un des incontournables de la visite de Safi, effectivement on peut y voir un château sur la mer assez bien conservé et rénové, la vue est très belle et souvent les vagues sont de la partie. Juste un petit moment rien de plus
