Open since 1970, El Bahia enjoys an exceptional location in the ramparts of the Medina. The restaurant, which has a good reputation, offers a pretty interior garden with a fountain and a pleasant interior room with Moroccan decoration. The specialities of the house? Grilled meat over a wood fire, beef with prunes, but also tajines and of course couscous! A small menu, but local and well-cooked products. For the hungry, full menus are offered at low prices. We highly recommend it!

Above the surf school, this panoramic restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean and the Rabat lighthouse. In a maritime atmosphere where even the waiters melt into the decor, you can come and eat for yourself or with your family. The menu features seafood products, such as fish caught on the day and lobsters from the fishpond. You can also taste various meats, pastas and pizzas. On the other side, facing the impressive Muslim cemetery, there is a small terrace where you can enjoy a drink. Very good service.

Founded in 1967, the oldest restaurant in the capital. Although the entrance is strictly guarded by heavyweights, the atmosphere is very relaxed. The decor is that of a French pizzeria, with its gingham tablecloths. Everything is good: the food is hearty and of good quality, the service is fast and the welcome friendly. At La Mamma, you come for the grilled meat or for the delicious pizzas! A wide choice of desserts, from ice creams to Italian specialties, is on offer. We advise you to come in the evening for the atmosphere.

Here's a little restaurant in the old medina that doesn't look like much, but where you can eat well and at low prices. It's frequented by regular Moroccans and a few tourists to whom we've recommended it. In addition to paninis, sandwiches and tacos, the menu offers good lava stone grills, meat stews and omelettes. Not to mention its excellent couscous, whether vegetarian, chicken or turkey. The dishes are tasty and hearty, for a very reasonable price. Excellent value for money.

The table at Riad Kalaa is one of our favorites! Here nothing is left to chance. In an Andalusian patio, the tables are elegantly set and the service is also very attentive. Moroccan appetizers are a delight, including zaalouk (eggplant caviar), small vegetables and pastilla . We appreciated the mastery of the cuisine, refined and generous. We recommend the duck tagine with its apple confit... The wine list is also up to scratch. A recommended address!

Here you can taste classic dishes in the refined setting of an old Arab-Andalusian palace. We appreciate the misty atmosphere in the light of the lanterns. A la carte, must-haves such as the harira, a traditional soup or pigeon and almond pastilla, marinated chicken, lamb tagine with dried fruit.
