Hotel on Avenue Hassan II, with terrace overlooking the valley, featuring modestly sized, clean rooms
If you're worried about getting lost in the medina without finding your hotel, the Hotel Salam has the advantage of being positioned on the edge of Avenue Hassan II, a stone's throw from the Kasbah. It plays the "Chaouen" postcard to the hilt. Blue is everywhere, on the walls, on the sofas and cushions, on the pottery and other decorative objects scattered here and there. The common areas are pleasant, and the terrace overlooks the valley. The rooms, modest in size, are clean. A good option in this price category.

This hotel is simply one scam (and the buildings will tell you without fear). Arrived to 10 people at the end of December, had promised hot shower to us and relative comfort (we are far from being however demanding...). We had: hot shower for two people does not (hot and cold alternation of the most beautiful effect.), windows that does not close (in winter with Chefchaouen, the top.), no window on the window of the rooms (you can sleep outside in the worst it is similar), some hard beds including stone, a tap flowing in the room (it is particular), the electricity cut at 22:00 and just one undrinkable management, complete with large smile before having paid, execrable in the morning, limited insulting after him to have said the rest.
