Read moreOpened in 2014, this guesthouse is very good value for money. It is run by Hamid, a very friendly Moroccan, who was born in room #1. The 11 rooms, double or family, are pleasant and nicely decorated, like the rest of the establishment. There is no meal here, but a shared kitchen. Hamid also rents a well-equipped apartment, just across the street. Superb panoramic terrace to contemplate the sunsets. Nice welcome.

Read moreTen kilometers from Chaouen, on the road to Derdara, stands this traditional blue dar surrounded by nature. It's an authentic and warm address, a quiet place to disconnect. The rooms are well kept and large, with lovely terraces and a very pleasant garden with pretty views over the river. The table d'hôte is excellent (the tajines and lamb mice are a marvel.) The owner's gentle welcome means you'll soon feel right at home. It's also a good starting point for hiking.
