Bab El-Assa gate, with artistic-theological motifs in Muslim art, crossing a path paved with rounded stones
This is one of the most representative examples of artistic-theological motifs in Muslim art. Heading into the medina, you cross a path paved with rounded stones that leads to the famous Baba café before arriving at a small square that offers a charming view of the bay, the beach and the roofs of the medina. A little further on, we discover the house of the famous billionaire Barbara Hutton, who collected jewelry and husbands until her death in 1979. She organized the most extravagant parties at Dar Sidi Hosni for 3 decades.

Cette porte donne accès à la place de la Kasbah quand on monte depuis le Petit Socco. La plupart des peintres qui ont séjourné à Tanger l'ont peinte. Sur la place, juste après la porte, à droite (Dar Zero) remarquez le très vieux figuier (plusieurs fois centenaire dit-on) que des chaines retiennent. Et ne manquez pas à gauche le Musée. Au fond de la place, une autre porte donne accès à une terrasse avec une belle vue sur la mer le détroit.
